Brittany - Founder/Owner
Thank you for joining us. My name is Brittany Hofmeister, and I am the founder and owner of Companion Care Home Care. We currently have five locations:

I constructed and developed every facet of Companion Care Home Care, from the ground, in 2011.
I began as a caregiver myself, caring for patients with developmental disabilities, at a Department of Developmental Disabilities facility when I was 16 years old. I continued to work in nursing home settings as a caregiver while obtaining my nursing education. I have also worked in several hospital settings and assisted in educating underprivileged children through the Jump Start Program.
After obtaining my nursing license, I took a position at Providence Point Healthcare Continuum, where I managed nursing assistants, for both dementia and personal care units. I then moved on to supervise the infirmary at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Convent, in Coraopolis, PA.
Using my knowledge and experience in various healthcare settings, I set out to create an in-home healthcare experience unlike any other. Our tailored care plans have increased patients' quality of life, by empowering them to remain in their own homes or a nursing facility of their choosing. We assist our clients and their respective families, in periods of respite care to their final years.
It was this journey that led me to the inception of Companion Care, in 2012. I am now a dementia practitioner enjoying every moment of supporting satiety in life for others. I enjoy creating endless career opportunities for empathetic and kind caregivers. Navigating the world of home care can be both difficult and confusing. Courtney Simmons CEO/Partner Columbus, OH Location
Courtney, the owner and manager of our Columbus Ohio territory. As a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Family Studies, her career path has taken her from social work to a corporate HR role. After becoming a mother, she followed her passion for family health and wellness by starting a FIT4MOM business, focusing on empowering women in motherhood.
When the challenges of Covid-19 emerged, she took a break to prioritize her family. During that time, she discovered a deep calling to continue serving others in need, which led her to embark on providing companion care for seniors in 2021. She and her team aim to become an extended part of your family, delivering personal and heartfelt care. For her, providing service is a ministry, and we are thrilled to expand our territory in Columbus, offering your family the highest quality of care.
On a personal note, she is a proud adoptive mother to her son Elijah. She has a passion for exploring the world through travel, and you'll often find her as the first one on the dance floor. In her free time, she is eagerly working on improving her pickleball skills!

Domenic’s interest in PT started at the age of thirteen, after having survived several major brain surgeries that fostered his passion for health, fitness, and helping others. He has a B.S. in Physical Therapy as well as certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Dom is extremely knowledgeable in human movement and the specific biomechanics of the body, allowing him to employ highly effective and specialized treatment programs for a variety of people, from Olympic & professional athletes from NFL, MLB, NHL, WBA, PGA, to geriatric clients & weekend warriors.
He has recently designed and patented products specific to rehabilitating the shoulders and upper extremities.
Domenic truly enjoys the challenge of treating an array of complex injuries at Vado and feels that educating, empowering, and restoring a patient's confidence and quality of life is as equally important as providing a high-quality PT. His professional expertise, ability to motivate, and sense of humor keep us constantly moving and laughing.
